Staarae platform fully understands and respects the privacy of the information shared by you and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy applies to the services we provide through the Staarae mobile application (“App”), the website Staarae.com (“Website”), and other Staarae-related activities, collectively referred to as the Staarae platform. By using our services, the user agrees to allow Staarae platform to collect, use, store, and disclose information as explained in this Privacy Policy.


This policy is part of the Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) of Staarae platform, implying that you agree to be bound by the Terms for accessing and/or using Staarae's content and services. If you do not agree with the Terms, you may not use or access our content and services.


Staarae may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will notify you by revising the “Update Date” or through communication via the Website or App. Continued use of Staarae following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. You are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed about our latest practices.


Collection of Information:

Staarae collects personal information, voluntarily provided by users (Linked to the Identity), such as:

  • Identifying Information: Name, email address, birth date, time of birth, place of birth, social media usernames (Instagram, Facebook, Apple, Google etc.), and current location.

  • Device & Usage Data: We collect data about how you interact with our Services, such as device type, browser, IP address, app version, and access times.

  • Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We may collect cookies, beacons, or similar technologies to enhance user experience and gather analytics.

  • Geolocation Data: If you allow location access, we may collect and store your geolocation to provide location-based services.

Note: By providing your mobile phone number, you expressly consent to receive transactional text messages, which may incur third-party data and message fees.

  • Payment Processing (e.g.,Apple and Google Pay, Stripe, PayPal)

When logging in with Facebook, Instagram, Apple, or Google, these platforms may share certain personal information (e.g., name, email) with us.

Content shared with others can be saved, copied, or distributed. Please use caution when sharing sensitive information.


Security: 

Any payment information is not collected or stored by Staarae website or app. The third-party payment gateways collect and process the relevant information in a secured manner. 

  • Payment Security: Payment data is processed by third-party gateways and is not stored by Staarae.

  • Data Protection Measures: We use technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal information.

  • Internet Risk Disclaimer: While we strive for security, we cannot guarantee 100% protection against unauthorized access or cyber threats.

If you do not accept these risks, you should discontinue using our Services.


Staarae is headquartered in the United States, and data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in the U.S. If you access Staarae from another country, your data may be transferred internationally and subject to U.S. laws.

By using our services outside the U.S. or Canada, you consent to these data transfers.

We retain your data as long as necessary for legal compliance, business needs, and operational purposes unless longer retention is required by law.


User Control: 

Users have the right to access, update, or delete their personal information. They can also opt-out of promotional communications and cookie tracking. If you are in certain jurisdictions, you may have rights under applicable laws regarding your information, including accessing, deleting, correcting, transferring, or limiting its processing. These rights are subject to exceptions, and we may need to verify your identity before processing your request.


Other Information: 

The user may send any other information through email or any other means of contact for some specific services and/or products. As a company policy, such information will not be part of the user’s profile, as it will only be used to address the specific issue or need that the user may have communicated for.


Children's Privacy: 

Staarae does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. Parents or guardians should contact Staarae if they believe their child’s information has been collected, without their permission. If you are not thirteen (13) years or older, do not use our Website, Apps, or Services. Personal data of children is not used for targeted third party advertising or shared with third parties without parental consent. Parents can review and delete their or their child’s data. By deleting a children’s account, parents can prevent further collection of the child’s information.


Deletion of Data:

  1. Users can delete their accounts, and associated personal data will be erased 

  2. Deletion requests can be sent to customercare@staarae.com. 

  3. California minors (under 18) can request content removal from our Websites or App by emailing customercare@staarae.com. However, removal does not guarantee complete erasure. In some cases, Staarae may not be required to comply but may anonymize or hide content instead of deleting it, as permitted by law.

While we strive to maintain uninterrupted access to our platform, we do not guarantee that the website, mobile app, or services will always be available, error-free, or function without disruptions.

  1. Reference to Terms of Use

This Privacy Policy does not cover limitations of liability, warranties, or disclaimers regarding the use of astrology services or other content provided by Staarae. For those provisions, please refer to the Disclaimer in our www.staarae.com/termsofuse
